Self-Tour Seven Glorious Gardens on Portland’s East Side
Plan-it Earth Design is pleased to be a featured designer at one of Portland’s premier garden events.
Our garden in Ladd’s Addition has both public and private aspects. The curbside native woodland garden features a magical pathway. Colorful flowers echo those in the public rose garden across the street. Artisan stone patios create intimate spaces throughout. All elements in the garden support pollinators, wildlife and soil health while showcasing the principles found in the owner Kristin Ohlson’s recent book The Soil Will Save Us.
Our garden will feature garden art by Indio Metal Arts
The design of the garden was a collaboration between Amy Whitworth of Plan-it Earth Design (Lead Designer), Lora Price of Design with Nature (Design and Layout), and Annie Bamberger of Annie Bam Landscape Solutions (Planting Concept).
The installation and execution of this fine garden is attributed to Jaylene Walter of J.Walter Landscape & Irrigation (also a tour sponsor and responsible for the construction of 2 other tour gardens)
Tickets are now available online and at select garden centers: Portland Nursery, Al’s Garden Center, Garden Fever and Cornell Farm

Proceeds benefit ANLD scholarships for landscape design students at local community colleges.
